Field Operations Technician

Several Field Operations Technician positions will be hired within the next year.  FOT's will be responsible for assisting with the implementation, operations, maintenance, sales support, and evolution of a new Wireless Broadband Service architecture. Selected candidates will take responsibility for applying the Open Range Communications Operations Methods and Procedures to clusters of cities and markets in specific Open Range markets, and will have demonstrable experience in installation, maintenance, and operations of carrier-grade wireless transport and backhaul networks. Experience with wireless communication site testing, turnover, and integration. Experience installing, maintaining, and operating batteries, generators, rectifiers and other power related components for communications sites. Positions are based in our various markets around the country. We are in immediate demand to fill this position in the following states:  AL, AR, GA, WI, NJ, PA, SC, OH, IL, DE

Service Delivery Analyst

Open Range Communications (ORC) is seeking highly motivated Provisioning and Service Delivery Analyst to assist with service operations, service delivery, and the evolution of a new Wireless Broadband Service architecture for rural, unserved, and underserved markets across the US.   

The selected candidate will take responsibility for the technical management, operation and assurance of the subscriber provisioning processes with an emphasis on service activation processes and transactions.  The provisioning analyst will work with other operations, IT, sales and service support to improve the service delivery process, order-to-cash solutions and zero-touch provisioning.   This includes ensuring orders are accurate and provisioning is complete.   Additionally, the provisioning analyst will work closely with our service providers ensuring subscriber TNs are ordered to support the sales plan by market and ensuring accuracy of the porting process.  As a member of the Service Operations team, this position will also provide backup support for our customer service call center operations and CPE fulfillment.

The analyst must demonstrate solid knowledge of and experience with either mobile or WiMAX network architectures, systems, and network elements including Mobile Station (CPE), BTS, ASN Gateway, AAA, auto-configuration servers, CPE device management via TR-069/104 or OMA-DM, service delivery and management  solutions, order-to-cash solutions, and zero-touch provisioning. Experience with VoIP and wireless networks preferred.  Experience supporting Customer Service call center operations is a plus.

Project Manager

Regional Project Manager is directly responsible for all aspects of deployment of all of Open Range’s Core Network elements & WAP selection and deployment. This PM is responsible to manage and ensure the roll out schedule is met or exceeded to include budget for the markets in those states. This Project Manager also owns the day to day implementation relations with Level and out Build to Suit partners.

Operations Engineer

The Operations Engineer is a key member of the Open Range Communications Operations team and is responsible for resolving network and service issues escalated from Tier 1 or Tier 2, supporting network deployment and test & acceptance of sites and network elements.  The OE will also be responsible for coordinating issue resolution with vendors when escalation to their support teams is required, as well as ensuring network/service availability by analyzing network performance and identifying issues before they become service affecting.

 The OE will be required to provide 24x7 escalation support, identify and document improved troubleshooting and resolution procedures for Tier 1/2 technicians and provide training to Customer Care agents, NOC Engineers, and Field Operations Technicians.  This job requires broad experience of network and access infrastructure elements, radio equipment, customer premise equipment and Operational Support Systems (OSS).

 

Payroll Specialist

We are looking for an outstanding individual  to join our fast growing team, who will be responsible for processing and administering the company employee semi-monthly payroll and weekly commission payouts; as well as hourly time sheets recording. In addition, this individual must maintain a variety of payroll documents such as payroll registers, payroll authorizations, benefits deductions reports, 401(k) retirement payment processing , FSA, HSA reports and payouts as well as recording  the information for the purpose of providing reference an audit trail materials for compliance.  This Individual will also be responsible for processing and reconciling insurance billing statements for timely payment processing to outside vendors. Prefer 7-10 years previous payroll experience. American Payroll Certification preferred. Compensation DOE.

 

IP Engineer

IP Engineer will be responsible for configuration and maintenance of core routers and layer 2 switches.  The position requires extensive experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols.  Maintaining corporate and production firewalls and IPDS systems.  Development and maintenance of monitoring systems, tools and procedures.  Working with operations on troubleshooting production network issues.  Assisting RF Engineers with Site acquisition and deployment for connection to the Open Range core network.  The position will also be responsible for lab testing and certification of new hardware and architecture of network elements.

RF Engineer

Responsible for the architect and implementation of the microwave strategy that provided the most cost effective solution that meets the networks needs.  Identify fiber Points of Presence and evaluate them for microwave feasibility to server surrounding clusters.  Review and submit microwave path coordinations and FCC licensing paperwork.  Generate and track appropriate RUS paperwork including form 245 and 773.  Evaluate vendor equipment and setting to optimize performance from a RF and IP perspective.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Regional Sales Managers

The RSM will oversee a regional sales effort for a door to door sales campaign in each market within a specific region.  The RSM will organize and develop a sales team that will be responsible for delivering subscribers within each market.  This position requires successful previous door to door sales and management experience in the telecommunications industry.  Base salary plus commission as well as bonus potential.  This person, if successful, may have significant succession and growth potential.

Field Sales Support Specialist

The sales support specialist’ primary responsibility is to drive sales by supporting all sales activity in the Regional field office.  Support will include the door to door sales program, the dealer sales program and the schools program.  The sales support specialist will help develop and train sales material to educate and train the door to door sales group and the dealer base.  The sales support specialist will be responsible for inventory management and reporting.  In addition, the sales support specialist will be responsible for generating the daily sales report and reporting direct sales commissions to the payroll department weekly.  The sales support specialist will act as the main conduit of information from the General Manager of the region to the field sales team.  The sales support specialist will participate in event selling activities that may include weekend work.

Marketing Support Specialist/Events Coordinator

The Marketing Support Specialist/Events Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the field sales organization by coordinating and scheduling all selling events for the Regional Field Sales Team.  The Marketing Support Specialist/Events Coordinator will be responsible for compiling sales results from each event and communicating the results to the General Manager in a timely fashion.  The Marketing Support Specialist will be responsible for all regional Social Media marketing.  The Marketing Support Specialist will support the General Manager in all marketing support activities.  The Marketing Support Specialist will participate in the field sales events.

Quality Analyst

The Quality Analyst is responsible for defining, maintaining and executing the methods for measuring overall network and service quality.  Will also be responsible for maintaining service level agreements (SLAs) (internal/external), and identification of and contribution to network and service improvement initiatives.  This position will require a broad knowledge of telecommunications and associated business processes.  The candidate must also possess a strong knowledge of various reporting tools, be able to recommend suitable report formats and support development and maintenance of an Executive dashboard.  The Quality Analyst will also be responsible for analyzing collected data to identify performance trends within a variety of contributing factors (I.e., vendor, technology, geography, etc.).

Change Management Analyst

The Change Management Analyst is a key member of the Open Range Communications Operations team and is responsible for management of our network change and augmentation process.  This position is responsible for managing a rigorous production network change control implementation process to ensure that all network changes are documented, reviewed, approved, and executed while minimizing service impacts.  This team member will collaborate and coordinate with various vendors, functional departments and implementation teams to ensure that all change management activities follow Open Range’s processes and procedures.  This position is responsible for driving network enhancements via coordinated tactical actions that will enable our network to grow and develop. 

Field Operations Manager

Open Range Communications is seeking highly motivated Field Operations Managers to assist with implementation, operations, maintenance, sales support, and evolution of a new Wireless Broadband Service architecture for rural, un-served, and underserved markets across the US. Selected candidates will take responsibility for applying the Operation’s Methods and Procedures to clusters of cities and markets across the US.  The Field Operations Manager will work with other operations and technical personnel and teams to set and implement the technical strategy for the development and operation of wireless broadband networks to deliver retail residential and business broadband services, mobile/nomadic wireless services, and WiMAX-enabled VoIP products.  Prefer experience with complex networks - both wired and wireless and in a large Internet Service Provider or mobile service provider context.
